I have been trying to remember the other occasions when any of the current City players scored two goals in a single game. Didn't Greg O'Halloran score both goals in the 2-2 game against Waterford at Turners Cross last season? A certain Neale Fenn scored for the blues that night.

Woods scored 2 against Longford last season (4-1 win)
George scored two against Bohs last season (3-2 win)
Flynny has done it a few times.
That 8 game record was the 8 opening games of the 98/99 season I think.
The 9th game was the first of three defeats to Pats that cost us the league![]()
Cahill (5), Flanagan(3) and Herro(3) were the leading scorers after 8 games.

That looked set to be a great season but alas we didn't win the league. BTW Flynny not only got 2 in a game last season, he got a hat-trick (UCD- wasn't it?) ! (anyway dan murray got 2 @ home to malmo)
i think it was either ucd or bray? anybody know for definite?
While we're on records, 3 City substitutes last night. Whan did that happen last?
The glass isn't half full or half empty it's just too damn big!
Yes, it was UCD, Good Friday 2003.
I believe that day cost FourFiveOne a few quid with the sponsored goals campaign last season!
If at first you don't succeed, redefine success.
Ah yes the sponsored goals campaign! No one complained though![]()
Normally it takes about 4 games to amount to 3 subs.Originally Posted by shedite
