Looks to be heading on loan to Dundalk. That could spell the end of his time at Everton unless he's granted an extension which I doubt is likely.

He'll be competing with two established LOI strikers in Ronan Murray and Pat Hoban at Dundalk so it will be a tough spot to get a run.

He'll be going 23 this year. It makes no sense for him to stay at Everton considering he isn't and never has been next nor near the first team squad.

Byrne hasn't made any impact at Dundalk from what I can tell? Hoban and Murray preferred, as well as a couple others.
