Would have said more myself but you'd know the ground better than me I suppose. How big is the main stand?Originally Posted by Longfordian
Main stand holds about 1500, could have been more I suppose was trying to have a conservative estimate..maybe closer to 1700..I'm not great at crowd guessing
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
There were a few odd emptty seats in the Derrynane, and some empty seats at the St. Annes end of the Donie Ford. Both stands were nearly full. I've put the adjective before full, especially for you......Originally Posted by monutdfc

The Echo has City v Drogs at 5000 and I reckon that's about right. Might have been slightly less but definately 4500+ anyway.
5500 at City v Derry.

You can chalk down 8,000 + for City vs Bohs!!!!!!!
While home fans can be a bit optimistic with guesses they have better chance than people not at game or who don't know ground.Originally Posted by exile
Becomes a lot easier to guess when counting seats as opposed to terracing. No one really knows how many can be got into the shed at the cross when the seating areas are well known...
Rovers v Pats about 1500 last week
Revenge for 2002
Around 2,500 at Shels V Waterford I think.
I'd say about 500 at Dundalk-UCD last week, though I don't know Oriel that well and it was hard to see the empty seats in the stand as they were so dark...
Will be able to update this again shortly when the computer at home comes back from the doctors...
1,000 at Longford-Waterford last night.
According to the Echo, there was "9,000 plus" in the Cross last night.
I would certainly have put the attendance at well over 8,500, as there was barely room to walk in the ground.
There was an underage international out there a year or two ago that had an official attendance of 9,000 and it looked just as packed as that last night.
how many were at the shels match at richmount?

How much does Richmond hold? Looked to be just a little under full from where I was.
