1500 in the stand, I'd guess around 800-1000 around the ground...maybe 2-3 deep behind one goal but single all the way around the rest...

I am indeed Poor Student- more of an affinity after being one of the 5 Derry fans to travel to the away leg when they beat us in the Champions League qualifiers a few years back

No offence to you,but can't stand them myself. Viole are total scum. I had to leave an Olimpija v Maribor derby before because they turned the stadium into a riot. Delighted to see them get walloped 3-0 at home by Oli. They look like they're being run into the ground at the moment.

The Herald says under 800 at Dub City v Shels. That's under 800 not just under, so make of that what you will. Awful turnout.

I guess that's the true number of our core support as any. I reckon there was about 5 Limerick fans in the 'guest' section. It was ****ing rain, we were playing bottom of the table Limerick and there were no free kids coming to play at half time. Might not be great but it's probably more than many suspected.

I'd say 50 is underestimating it a bit. Hardly made the 100 though. Someone on our forum reckoned there was 100.

I'd guess 3,000 at Cork City v Pats.

Lower half of Donie forde stand and St Annes end empty due to rain.

    Shed and Derrynane stand full.

Bad sign for the club if they can only get those crowds for big games.
But if they made the Premier they have huge nos of travelling fans from Dublin/Drogheda.
EL grounds are like good episodes of The Simpsons, no matter how many times you see them they're still funny

I'm probably being conservative. i'd say the crowd was between 3,000 and 3,500.

That's true but they don't seem to have developed a decent sized "hardcore" support that they can rely on.

If they stay in the first division it'll be a big struggle for the club.

Radio says 4000-5000 for Shels v. Cork? Sounds very high for a Shles home game?
