Think that was 1500 when would nrmally be something like 4500 so would bring the average down a lot.Originally Posted by Carlin
Look back over the thread, you'll find a few. Derry and Drogs in at 3,000, Longford and Waterford (twice) at 3,500 and Bohs 1,700. All bringing the average down. Average without that Bohs game is 4,222.Originally Posted by adamcarr

I must have only been watching the match with one eye open then
Miserable attendance at Dublin City-Derry, no more than 500.

No there was about 400 / 500 there, but it was propably the worst game of football i have every seen.Originally Posted by Terry

I agree with you on the worst game of football ever but there is NO WAY there was 400-500 people in the ground unless 200 were in the bar or all at the toilet at the same time. Remember, you shouldn't really be counting players, subs or refereeing officialsOriginally Posted by Breifne

It was so quiet two young fellas were having a lengthy clearly audible conversation with each other, one sitting in the Riverside, one in the Ballybough End.
There were 30 Derry fans in the Riverside, 150 fans in the main stand and a few stragglers at either end. And yes, I counted, it wasn't hard and it beat watching the match.
I've been to more entertaining masses.

5000 at the City - Shels game!
Ha ha, I was at the game and noticed that myself, classic!Originally Posted by OneRedArmy
Btw you're right about the attendance, 200 tops I'm afraid.
