EL grounds are like good episodes of The Simpsons, no matter how many times you see them they're still funny

Roughly 2000 at the Shels Dubs match I'd say. We'll call it 1999 then.
Dublin City site says 1200.Originally Posted by Slash/ED
Would have thought higher, RTE Radio had it at around 2,000 aswell.
Fair to split the difference, call it 1600? Try and err on the side of caution, so at least we have minimum figures.
Waterford-Longford was 2700 per the Examiner today.
Dublin City's official site is very closely associated with the club, and generally carries conservative crowd estimates (which suggests to me that they've seen the official figures.) Given the club's relatively close ties with Shelbourne, this may be the case here also. Still, 1600 looked about right to me.Originally Posted by pineapple stu
1,600 seems a decent figure alright if we're eering on the side of caution. Sheridan as a matter of interest about how full was the Drumcondra end stand? I was in the middle of it and it's always hard to judge how full a stand your in is. I'm guessing you were in the Riverside?
Yeah, didn't glance at it too often (although I heard "It's just like watching Home Farm" loud and clear), but it looked about 70% full to me. Could be miles out, though.Originally Posted by Slash/ED
1,200 at Rovers vs Athlone last night according to www.sligorovers.com not too bad considering we lost 4-0 to bray last week

I would have thought there were more people in the ground than that figure.
I would have thought less myselfOriginally Posted by patsh
