Cork city attendances 70% more than 2nd place.
When include 20k from the 3 inter toto cup games is close enough to 100k seasonal total.
If include shel$ 4 european games they be around 82k total for season.

1st division numbers are pathetic & 12 team premier will reduce average numbers next season.
That remains to be seen, Finn Harps-Derry derbies will bring in a good bit for those three games, first northern derby in a while, though I agree Bray and UCD won't add much.Originally Posted by pete
Dissapointing figures in the league are Drogs and Longford. Longford did very well in the cup and you'd think they'd be able to pull along more supporters than they did, they didn't do terribly in the league either. Drogs had an exceptional season and the figures really should've shot up, they're even below the mid-table teams, which isn't good. They'll need all the money they can get if they're to continue this kinda performance.
I'd say we'll average over 1000 which would be 2 times as much as Dub C this season - and being on the DartLine should mean big travelling support for all the Dublin teams so I think we will be good for the Prem (if we can produce enough to keep the home fans).Originally Posted by ShelsTim
Although I agree that neither ourselves or UCD will bring as much to the league as Harps.

Nice to see a bit of honesty on foot.ie
First Division Champions
First Division average is going to plummet next season though - no Harps or Bray (top two on the list this season) and Dublin City taking their place... Could well go down to the 300s.
Drogheda have one of the highest ticket prices - might have something to do with the lower than expected turnouts. Although the higher prices are still going to bring in the cash!Originally Posted by ShelsTim
Playig figuers here, but if the numbers attending each weekend is 18,500 in the Premier and 5,500 in the First, out of popul of 4million its .006%. Whats it like in other countries?
0.6%, not 0.006%. Also, that'd be every two weeks, as the figures you have are if each team plays at home each week, which obviously wouldn't happen.Originally Posted by Ronnie
This website gievs average attendances for most leauges in Europe, so you can check the various percentages there. Cyprus is about the highest, as far as I know.
NB technically chievo verona have the highest percentage crowds in the world. average is about 9000, their town/suburb has a population of 3000
I bet ya we finish above both these teams, some nice signings on the way. We'll do ok next seasonOriginally Posted by Stevo Da Gull
