I'd say 4500 is a bit on the high side. Richmond holds 5500 officially and you'd easily have got another 1500 in the Shed, there was a big section of the upper Camac fenced off as a no-man's land and at full time, not that many Shels fans came on the pitch from there so it mustn't have been full. I'd say 4000 tops.

Still about four times better than our normal home crowd these days, and at a tenner a skull on average we'll happily trouser the extra €30k

Just saw Irish Times listed the attendance at the Dublin City vs Rovers game at 1100. Assuming it wasn't a typo, was it because it the last game of the season that the crowd turned up?

Ah, come on now, there was at least 4 million in the ground with about another 17 million outside trying to get in, but, sure, the ground can only hold so much, eh?

Around 2,500 according to this thread. Of course, every other team in the league gets ten times that don't they?

You can try and belittle City's attendance all you like but the FACT is that there were over 10,000 people in Turners Cross last Friday (only about 100 of them were Bohs fans) to see City try and win the league.
Shels only had about 1500 fans in Richmond to see them win the league for the second year in a row, that is an absolute joke and if I were you I'd be extremely embarrassed.

I watched a recording of the match on Saturday and that's what it looked like. There were about 300-400 in the stand and probably another 1000 on the Camac and there were less than 1000 on the pitch at the end celebrating!

If you're disputing this please tell me how many Shels fans you thought were at the game?

How the hell could you see who was in the Carmac on the TV? There was around 1,000 on the pitch but the stand was still full of Shels fans (Or the Pats fans were nice enough to dress in our jersys, celebrate our win, sing and clap the players like you'll probably try and tell me). I've no idea how many where there since we were allocated only a small part of the stand and the rest of the support was completley mixed in with the Pats support in the other sections of the ground. You also have no idea how many were there.

Right. Final end-of-season tallies (unless people fill in some of the gaps, in which case it won't be. Thanks to all for contributing. Hopefully we can do this again next year and see what sort of change there is. For what it's worth, we have 89% of Premier Division attendances and 72% in the First. I have an Excel file of this - if anyone is interested, PM me your e-mail and I'll send it on.

Usual rules - last season in brackets. All missing matches are in the first round of matches unless stated.

    PREMIER DIVISION
Bohs 2340 (2625) (incidentally, this agreed exactly to Poor Student's average as taken from the Star a couple of weeks back)
    Cork 4033 (4147)
    Derry 1780 (2265) (missing Cork 2, Longford 2 and Waterford 2)
    Drogheda 1530 (1662) (missing Cork 2 and Shels 2)
Dublin City 616 (missing Drogheda 2)
Longford 1134 (1586) (missing Derry 2 and Dublin City 2)
    Pat's 1882 (2971)
    Rovers 1375 (2038) (missing Cork 2, Derry 2, Drogheda 2 and Shels 2)
    Shels 2325 (2573) (missing Derry 2, Drogheda 2, Dublin City 2, Longford 2 and Rovers 2)
    Waterford 1753 (2520) (missing Dublin City 1)

    FIRST DIVISION
Athlone 311 (missing Cobh, Dundalk 2, Galway (both rounds), Kildare (both), Limerick (both), Monaghan 2 and Sligo)
    Bray 834 (missing Limerick 2)
Cobh 221 (missing Athlone 2, Bray, Dundalk 2, Kildare, Kilkenny, Limerick, Monaghan (both) and Sligo)
    Dundalk 591
    Harps 1156 (missing Cobh 2)
    Galway 590 (missing Cobh 2, Harps 2, Kildare 2 and Monaghan 2)
Kildare 298 (missing Cobh 2, Dundalk 2, Galway, Kilkenny 2, Limerick 2 and Monaghan)
Kilkenny 108 (missing Bray 2, Cobh (both), Kildare, Limerick (both), Monaghan (both) and Sligo)
Limerick 188 (missing Bray, Cobh (both), Dundalk 2, Kildare, Kilkenny, Monaghan (both) and Sligo)
Monaghan 182 (missing Athlone, Kildare (both games) and Kilkenny)
Sligo 808 (missing Kildare 2 and Kilkenny 2)
    UCD 306 (783)

    PREMIER DIVISION AVERAGE - 1897 (2331)
    FIRST DIVISION AVERAGE - 537

I'd say between 500 and 600 (a 550 so) in our final hamoe game -V- Lims.

I'd say around 250 for the game in Cobh.
