6th win in a row for Cork as they turn up the heat on Shels. A win for Kenny against his former side Bohs to put their UEFA cup chances in serious doubt and even their Inter Toto as Drogheda beat Rovers to restablish their European chances and put them close to third place. If only Dublin City were producing results they would have been able to pull close to Rovers but it seems it will be too little to late for Collins.

In the First, bad result for UCD. They need Bray to win to have a real hope of winning the title, and the slip up allows Kildare to creep back into a narrow hope of claiming promotion.
