Hard to look past Westport B if they beat us at the weekend...they will go in as heavy favourites after very impressive win last weekend
Not quite safe yet, if we beat Snugbora on Thursday night it should leave us safe, A great first half left up 3 up at h.t, a great free kick by dc put 1 up, a flick header by Smurf put 2 up while good move by gigs and Mc Locs led 3 nil up at ht. A couple of dodgy decisions by yhe ref. could have led to a couple of Celtic players seeing red, especialy when Giggs was fouled by the last man and a cpuple of dodgy off sides.
Con you might have noticed that Killmurray are back in the schoolboys compitation with the players we had playing wih us earlier now back with killmuray,

watched killala and snugboro, 2-0 snugboro when we left. Hard watch if Im honest. No disrespect but both sides were poor
Very poor last night. Killala were missing 5 lads through injury and suspension so that did not help. Had to draft in a few lads to do a job (didn’t work obviously). In fairness Killala came 3rd last in Prem B last year and now playing in Prem A so every game is naturally a struggle but one more point and Killala are as good as safe. Hopefully that will come against Claremorris on Sat but against Conn R will do just fine
Its going to be a good battle between Celtic B on 8pts, Snugboro on 11pts and Killala on 14pts with 4 games left .....

Agree the more hungrier, determint and deserdvivly
won the match, missing 4 or 5 players. Be very tight with Celtic on 8, Snugbora on 11 and killala on 14, Snugbora and Celtic have to play each other, it will be very tight.
Killala have tough run in but I think a point would do them
with it being so tight at the top, i missed celtic getting dragged into the relegation trouble, last time i looked it was between killala and snugboro to go down, only the barclays premier league can rival it for excitement, massive game for us and westport this wkend with swinford and ballyglass likely to pick up full points
lt come down to the wire could do with getting some of our injured players back, we have got out of harder run in to survive.

Big result for us up in Westport B played very well ended 4 1...tight at top and bottom
Claremorris 4- 1 Killala,
more injuries, and 2 deaths cost us 2 players last night, 2-1 into injury time, pushed for a equalizer conced 2 late goals, 2 weeks till we play again, hopefully we can get a couple of the injured players back for then,. Verry tight at top and bottom.
The next round of fixtures sees ballglass travel to swinford, ballyglass are in a rich vein of form and swinford having a very strong home record until their defeat to Westport B.... Killala away for us, always has been a tough one for us down through the years and especially with them hovering about the relegation zone they will be out to do us....
with the fixtures down in 2 weeks for sheid and cup semi's, i see no team from premier A is left in either competition, would it be impossible to try and get the round of fixtures played this wkend instead of the 21st sep which hopefully will be an all-ireland final for mayo, any thoughts? (disregard this if mayo lose)
Killala 1 conn rangers 3, hard fought win, got exactly what we expected from Killala, good tough match, they should have enough to stay up....swinford 3 ballyglass 4 must have been some game
Now that mayo has a new Oscar traynor management, is their any lads in premier A good enough to make the squad, if so, who?
Big weekend ahead. Conn Rangers and Ballyglass will be hopeful of making it a memorable one. A win for Westport leaves them in the mix for the title on the final day with Ballyglass to play then. Amazing how far swinford drifted away in the end
