Was up at the celtic game for a while . Both teams only had 2 subs a piece. The average age of the team urlaur must be 40 ! Sad to see the game turning to this

You guys had 2 or 3 better players that made the difference. That and the fact that no football could be played on that " Field" Lets call a spade a spade conn hawk that was extremely unfair to host any team on that pitch. I even witnessed one of your own guys nearly going over on his ankle. The mayo league are meant to inspect these pitches and obviously this wasn't done. Not only is it unplayable but it is down right dangerous. Its shows a complete lack of care and respect. I am not making excuses and you know this yourself because there is no way you can defend that surface. Even where there was a bit of grass it was ankle high. I mean come on in this day and age its totally unacceptable . Did you have cattle in it all winter or something ......shocking

    Killala 0 - 3 Partry

Gave away 3 bad goals from set pieces in the first 17 minutes, against a very good team, could be the surprise packets. Missing 4 regulers, nee to get back to wining ways next Sunday against Snugbora away. There was a incident in the game, one of the Partey players done a late bad tackle, the ref did not book him because he said that the Killala plater involved had done a simuler tackle and had not been booked, rubbish.

If you read my post i clearly stated that i wasnt making an excuse. Please take the time to re read it
If you regard the pitch as being decent then you are clearly satisfied with poor quality but i would suggest that you visit more progressive clubs like celtic, snugboro , ballina, ect to view how they take care of their facilities .
However I am sure you are happy with the state of mount falcon and thats your own clubs business now but the league should have inspected it and still probably should. Case closed

i'll admit the pitch wasnt in the best shape but for all the ball ye tried to play it hardly made a difference, even if that game was in the aviva ye would of been long ball all day

Ya its a bit crappy considering all we did to get away from some of those teams with promotion last season to get screwed over and being stuck with them again with the league restructuring.
Need to get off to a flyer. See how things go from there
With the launch of the new Irish channel, they are giving space too every county a slot every week, The ML should get on this where the weeks results and the following weeks fixtures should be on it

Pretty poor comeback. The first incident was witnessed by most people there and the rangers player even apologised later .

Only a bit of banter man, although the difference was the reaction. Conn Hawk seemed to have taken down by a sniper. Big grin on his face afterwards.
Better team won, no arguments there. See ye in Septemer.

I don't think either was a red card by the way, yellows all round.

Ya totally agree joe neither were red cards. Even yellows would have been harsh because both players went down soft. In fairness the first incident a big lad went down with minimal contact from a tiny lad
