I thoiught it might be an accident at first but looking at it again I am not so sure, the ban will teach him to be a little more careful. He did have his back to him but I think he knew he was there.

I listened to it. He came across very well and like quite a few of the green anglos before him, intelligently articulate.

So I suppose we've to get back on Jimmy Mac's case about his injury record now that Harry has turned his back on Perfidious Albion and is once again a potato.

Got top rating in the Maily Mail but not in the stats
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/foo...stalemate.html

    https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1080584/Live

    Man of the match here

    http://www.sportsjoe.ie/football/har...-ireland/99993

    and here

    https://www.premierleague.com/match/14121

Maybe they are refering to the same award? I guess so as the Premierleague would give the official award, the stats site uses it own stats based system.

Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp, speaking after Bournemouth’s draw with Tottenham today, was full of praise for the 26 year-old man of the match award.
“It was the best midfield performance I’ve seen all season in the Premier League. He was all action.
“It wasn’t just the tackles. It was the passing. It was the energy he showed. He was the player who epitomised how Bournemouth played today. Everything about his game was sensational.”
Redknapp wasn’t the only one who was impressed.
Was not just Redknapp either, 3 twitter users also praised him highly, one of whom has nearly 600 followers.

Whatever about the link to the Daily Mail, the sportsjoe and punditarena quotes are clearly taken from other sites.

Also, number of followers doesn't really mean anything

it has finally clicked who he reminds me of in this video. Our very own Mark Noble!!

They are very similar players actually, having watched a bit of West Ham this season and most recently yesterday, both very effective link players who start deep. They are both the players on the team that can control the teams tempo. One thing that perhaps Noble brings that Harry doesnt is more of a threat around the top of the box but, having said that, Arter has a couple of goals to his name since Bournemouth got promoted to the PL.

Really cant wait to see him become a fixture for us.

I'd be surprised if he has been an unused substitute more than once or twice. You would swear he has been travelling to away friendlies in Siberia without getting on the pitch for several years.

I'd say he will play in Austria with McCarthy and Quinn unavailable. I think MON would be risking assassination if he started O'Kane instead of him.

He said "a couple of times". What's wrong with that?

you must be really surprised so, he was an unused sub against Bosnia twice, Poland at home and Serbia away

The Poland match was his first call up (I think), and the two Bosnia games followed his debut against England and it would have been a big shout starting him regardless of getting two good results.

The Serbia game followed a relatively successful European Championships.

There is an argument he should have started the Serbia game only, but even that came after missing the European Championships through injury.

People say he should have came on in Serbia, but Stephen Quinn changed the game with his introduction (and I'm not his biggest fan) and Daryl Murphy set one up for Shane Long and ultimately scored the equalizer that secured a point.

And we were hardly going to throw him on in the last minute in lieu of Ciaran Clark when we were playing out the last moments of the game.

My point is the nonsense POV that he has been unfairly ignored by MON that prevails among certain fans.

Which is only debatable for one of them.

And the nonsense POV that he was mistreated somehow by not coming on in Serbia - when the two subs who did come on got us back into that game.

Not saying that attitude prevailed here but it was commonplace everywhere else.

This fear that he would declare for England because he didn't start on his debut or a Playoff or the first game after a Euros he missed through injury.

I can't quite recall when, but I swear there was a time when this thread wasn't just TOWK arguing with people from other forums that aren't here.
