There's another pretty outrageous and defamatory lie in there too; it certainly has not "already been ascertained that [Arter] was back to fitness by the time we played Wales, at least". Is there any chance of a mod insisting on an adherence to even a semblance of accuracy here? TOWK has been getting away with blue murder lately and I'm really finding it hard to hold my tongue here as the last few pages of this thread have been an absolute joke. Sort it out.
And when did O'Neill ever signal, indicate or imply irritation at Arter's absence? To suggest irritability may have been detectable on the part of O'Neill in respect of Arter is just another attempt to give a totally misleading impression of reality and to distort the truth. Did O'Neill even publicly comment (or ever display a particular "demeanour", whatever that means) in relation to Arter's absence? If so, when and where?
