Harry Arter has just made it 2-0 for Bournemouth at Charlton after 11 mins....9th goal of the season

Nothing special goal wise.....charlton defence dithering around with the ball and arter intercepted

I hope he's given a chance against NI and England, with a view to starting against Scotland. He has a lot of Stephen Quinn's energy and drive to him and might just be the better player, and the type of player our midfield needs, someone who can drive forward with the ball.

Is there a bit of Scott Brown about him?

Don't go overboard with the compliments, Stutts.

I think Brown is a good player who made a difference for Scotland I against us, hence the direct comparison. I'm not looking (yet) for a new Roy Keane, just someone who can help our midfield win the battle on 13/6.

Actually when that was posted a 10-0 defeat for Bournemouth and 10-0 win for Middlesbrough would have swung the goal difference I think.

Oh wow, well done to the lad, I was not expecting Watford to slip up and draw.

Well a bit of the Scott Parker perhaps as he is his brother in law!

Being part of a championship winning side is usually a good sign.

According to Whoscored his strengths are:

    Passing Very Strong
    Defensive contribution Very Strong
    Through balls Strong
    Long shots Strong
    Dribbling Strong
    Concentration Strong
Looks very impressive, especially so when his weakness is supposed to be finishing (and discipline)
and he has 9 goals, which is more than decent for a midfielder, indeed I'd say that was "very good".

So would be be available for the play offs?
I assume he would although the 3-0 defeat to Colchester is not too encouraging.
Seems the play offs are in a months time so he should be match fit?

Arter followed up his League Cup return during the week with his first PL appearance today, playing 73 minutes of Bournemouth's defeat at Southampton. Martin Tyler seemed mystified when he was replaced, saying that he understands sports science but that Arter had been doing as much as anybody to get Bournemouth back in the game, clearly meaning he was doing more than most!

Your heart goes out to Harry after the loss of his daughter midweek. The camaraderie of being with team mates might have helped as he comes to terms with this tragic loss.

I switched on late and heard Tyler referring to something bad. I had no idea it was this.

He played really well for what it's worth. Shows you to power of friendship and the value of team sport.
