Williams attempted the two footed corner challenge with two of his teammates at Millwall
Fair enough, still it's a bit of a silly thing to say after three league games, but I guess he is trying to praise his own player rather than insult our players. Williams has always been a class act. When he went to MK I thought he'd be in the Premier League within 2-3 years, but he hasn't quite managed it yet.
Nice goal this evening.
Must be close to a call up.
Yeah man, they call gambling a disease, but it's the only disease where you can win a bunch of money.
Haven't seen the goal but seems like he was booked for his celebration. Managed to get himself sent off in the 99th minute a few weeks back as well. I'd like to see him given a chance - wasn't long ago Holloway was trying to bring him to Palace in the Premier.
haven't seen too much of the chap, but I'm well aware of who he is.
He's hardly on O'Neill's radar though is he?
Here they come! It’s the charge of the “Thanks” Brigade!
O'Neill was at a Millwall game in August: http://www.millwallfc.co.uk/news/art...n-1869844.aspx
The midfielder, born near Dublin, has impressed since arriving at The Den from MK Dons in January and put in a masterful display against Sheffield Wednesday last Tuesday with Republic of Ireland boss Martin O'Neill watching from the stands.
Yes, O'Neill's been to see him a couple of times, albeit in games with other Irish players in the opposition. There was a sense he might have been called up to the squad for the Oman game but it was the usual suspects.
Williams still dreaming of Ireland call up.

"My form has been good here, I have won the club's player of the month award three months in a row now. That's nice to have, especially as the award comes from the fans, if the supporters think you're doing well then you must be doing something right, especially as our crowd are not the easiest to please," says Williams.

Goal here.
Assist for Millwalls first goal today as they clinched a play-off place with a 4-3 win, the winner coming in the 85th minute away to Bristol Rovers. Playing at left back lately.

Joins Cyrus Christie in the WhoScored Championship Team of the Month: http://www.skysports.com/football/ne...i-of-september
September was a decent month for newly-promoted Millwall, whose defeat in their final match against Barnsley highlighted the absent Shaun Williams' importance to the side. Indeed, while George Saville has rightly drawn plaudits alongside him at the heart of the Lions' midfield, the 30-year-old has been extremely solid, picking up crucial assists in a draw at QPR and win over Reading. Averages of 2.4 key passes and 2.2 tackles per game highlighted his strength both in and out of possession and contributed to a rating of 7.71.
Very influential today. Created Millwall's first goal and scored the second from a deflection. Was his usual combative self and influential throughout, certainly still an option for us at 31.
He’s a very good player. Tidy with the ball. One of the few who came out of Nations League with head held high
Released by Portsmouth. I'd forgotten about him tbh. 35 now, but played 31 games last season
Released by Gillingham. I'd still forgotten about him. 37 now, so unless he comes back for an LoI swansong, he may well hang up the boots. Only played 14 games for Gillingham this season, and only two of those since Christmas.
