one of the greatest to put on a Limerick Shirt
Too young to have ever seen him play but heard some great stories from my grandfather and father . Rip Joe.
Too young also but he certainly left a great history within the club.

Great player, had the pleasure of seeing him play in my youth. Gifted centre half, very similar to style of footballer to Paul McGrath . Could really read a game brillantly. Lovely man also,always had time to talk and sign programmes after games or in the street.
