Some rare (and not so rare) Irish football books...

For sale: Some rare (and not so rare) Irish football books...

I have a couple of spare copies of Irish interest football books available, as follows...

The Book of Irish Goalscorers (Sean Ryan/Stephen Burke c1987). Very rare and hard to find. Brilliant book profiling top international and League of Ireland goalscorers from the 1920s to the 80s. Includes full listings of league goal scorers for every club for every season €20

Gillette Book of the FAI Cup (Sean Ryan/Terry O’Rourke) the original hard-to-find version c1987, not the 2010 version. Content very similar to the 2010 re-issue but with some different photos. A nicer and more collectible book than the 2010 version! €8

From the Lodge to the Box, Plunkett Carter (c2002). Excellent history of Cork football, particularly good coverage of Cork Hibernians. Extremely hard to find. €50

Jack Charlton's American World Cup Diary (1994 World Cup. Jack Charlton/Peter Byrne) €2

**FREE** The Ball is Round- excellent global history of football. Hardback, ex-library. **FREE if you’re likely to meet me at a match or in Dublin. Postage likely to be exorbitant though.
