I have always gone straight up ... Thurles -> Templemore -> Birr -> Athlone etc. Roads aren't the best but you definitely dont meet as much traffic that way.Originally Posted by Fair_play_boy

All members of the Rebel Army should carry provisional licences. That's the reason I still have mine, nothing to do with being too lazy to apply for my full licence or anything like that!
