he was from the Co Longford/Westmeath border in north westmeath-if we played on saturday nights he had no problem comin down but I know when we did switch towards the end of the season to Friday nites it just didnt suit him to come down so went to Bohs or Shels games instead.

I know a few people from Mullingar with the same problem, but just stopped going altogether rather than go off to Dublin.

I remember seeing a lad with a Donegal GAA jersey in the Bohs crowd at Inchicore earlier this year. Did Shels make any attempt to recruit fans from the student population at St. Pats College in Dromcondra I wonder? since Tolka is close by.
