    A Decent Match

I left Ireland about a dozen years ago. Will be returning to do the marathon on Oct 25. Any decent football that week ? Went to the FAI Cup Final last year (day before marathon) and frankly it was a bit ****e. May have been the whole Landsdowne thing. Suggestions please ??????

Mightn't be the most popular posting in this part of the world, but if you get down to Croker you can see the International Rules 2nd Test. There's no Eircom football on Sundays so no harm in watching a different code on this occassion!

Cup final is on that weekend. I think there's a full set of league fixtures too but I don't know off hand who's playing.

If you're still around on Friday 29th, I suggest you go to Shelbourne v Cork City in Tolka Park.

This could be a massive game in realition to who wins the league and there should be a great atmosphere with a huge crowd of City fans travelling up.
