Good result for city

Dont think we will win the league but the second spot is now in our own hands.

What do you think will be a better result for us tomorrow.

In the case of an away win for City, do you want a Shels win or a Bohs win?

I would prefer a Bohs win. It makes the league as a whole more competitive and we would nearly be within touching distance of Shels.

Thats a tough one!

. I suppose you cant give up hope for a city championship season so yes i suppose a Bohs win.

I hope Bohs hammer Shels, and don't forget if ye win aswell you still have 2 games in hand over Bohs and should you win those ye go two points clear of Bohs and with in 3 points of Shels ( this is all depending on Aertels league table being up to scratch). Now I ask you again: Who do you want to win?

As for the straight slog between City and Drogs for third spot - dont think so, the way its going now I'd tip Drogs to finish in 5th.

Drogs play City twice....a lot of points up for grabs in these two games - far from over yet !!

Why? Why isnt is a 'straight slog' between Bohs and Drogs for 3rd. Unlike you lot, we are actually playing well.

2nd is the least CCFC will be looking at come the end of the season.

City can always aim for the league but even the most optomistic fan can see we're looking at 2nd. I would like to see a dour nil all draw between Shels and Bohs, let neither team race away from us. Remember we have a game in Tolka on the last day of the season!

As for last nights result it dents Drogs confidence greatly, its hard to pick yourself up after a defeat and its even harder after four on the trot.

I'd disagree with this and say there will be an almighty tussle between ourselves and Bohs for 2nd if Bohs win tonight.

im not sure.. theres no reason why city cant win every game left.. thing is it prob wont happen.. we have the most difficult run in imaginable with waherfur away, shels away, bohs, drogs x2 and derry are never easy to beat.. i think we will prob take around 18-21 points of the 27 for grabs.. enough for at least 2nd spot..
id rather bohs win tomorrow to keep the league alive and us well in contention... if shels still go on to win the league im confident we can then beat bohs at the cross to take 2nd on the last day.. we hammered them at dalymount earlier in the season

Reckon a draw tonight is teh best result for City - helps keep the League alive in the unlikely event we go on a brilliant run and helps us ot catch Bohs for 2nd.
Obviously the key is that tonight is a game we have to win - this is teh rela test of how good a motivator the big man is...

i think what kearney said about going for second and for us to do better then its down to shels was spot on.

If the Aertel info is accurate, coming second is in our own hands. But think of this; if we keep up our winning run, what odds that Shels can hold their nerve? I would be nervous even now if I was a sheliban.
