I chose to ignore it because that guy is nothing to me.

Does Arter and Judges Injuries open the door for him a little ??
I've always been of the opinion that if a kid is good enough he's old enough.
I'd play him v Holland with a view to taking him to France if he looks up to it.

Assisted a goal tonight but Cambuur could only draw 1-1 with Willem II. They will be relegated if they lose to PSV at the weekend, not that it'll affect Byrne too much.

So tidy the way he sets himself up for the strike.
And fell on his backside after hitting it
Can't have done any harm in engineering that dream move to Ajax or even PSV like Olé says. That really would be class if he was a regular starter for one of those for a while, especially Ajax. Not sure how realistic it is though.
He is open to playing abroad which is a start.
I'd say he'll have a few options come up across the continent.
Maybe not PSV or Ajax. But a decent, established, European team.
Quite a feelgood weekend for Irish footballers. Most of the established guys doing well plus plenty of young bucks doing well at their various levels.
I'm beginning to think JB might make the Euros squad.

No, I meant PSV and Ajax are European giants of the game. It would be incredible if he was to get a move to one of those sides.
I'd consider it a step up if he went to a club the standard of AZ Alkmaar or Twente in Holland. Or preferably, an established European league team like Lille, Montpellier, Borussia Moenchengladbach or Espanyol.
Let's face it though. None of us would complain too much if he had to settle for a move to a team competing at the top end of the Championship like QPR or Middlesbrough.
My thinking is a move to Ajax (or the like) might not be in his interests. His time at Cambuur has been a success because he has played, and has been a senior player in the team. That has allowed him to find his feet over time and aided his development. If he went to a team where he was being asked to adjust his game to accommodate more experienced players, or even worse, was coming off the bench, it wouldn't do as much for his development.
