Tony O'Donnell and Alan Cawley are by far the best Pundits the show has ! Plus Cawleys blogs on the website are normally very good
Funny! I knew you were on about that wonderful season Rovers had; have visions of Byrne turning up to pick up his 'winnings' to be told Rovers finish 5th and him going off on one 'Despicable, robbed blind, the way the club have been treated people say that Liam Buckley et al are nice men but theyre not they stopped Shamrock Rovers winning the league so get lost all of ye outa the league, im angry, im angry'.

https://kesslereffect.bandcamp.com/album/kepler - New music. It's not that bad.
Credit where it's due, Monday's show was very good, actually better than what used to be on MNS.
If they stuck to that format it'd be great. Leave out the Champions League stuff and no need for token British football pundits.

Stephen McPhail, Tony McDonnell and Alan Cawley are the panellists next week.
No One Likes Us, We Don't Care
Anyone else think they should have Dave Barry on more? No? Either do I
I think they should have Dave Barry on every week, as presenter and lead analyst, and if he's not available they should get somebody to dress up like him and talk like they have soup in their mouths.
Let nothing be said about Dave Barry!!
Did Richie Sadlier just admit he took performance-enhancing drugs for an entire season at Millwall?
Eh yeah in a way. Banned substances though are not always performance enhancing but could give a positive result the same as a performance enhancer. Loads of people were using JD3 before it was banned by WADA couple of years ago and it really only aided recovery
But had he won a few medals he could have ended up sended the back!
I assume they weren't giving him performance-neutral banned substances.
What did he say? Football is generally a joke when it comes to drug testing, the issue simply isn't taken seriously.

The last two weeks Foley has pointed to our lack of strength-in-depth. The thing is that we actually do have a lot of strength-in-depth this year, probably the most that I can ever recall.
You wouldn't expect Foley or most of the Dublin based media to know too much about soccer in Cork, a bit unfair I think.
Just saw what Pat Doolan wrote in the Star last week in relation to the GAA/Sky tv deal. Makes no sense at all, he expects that the LoI can get millions for tv coverage if only they had negotiators like those in Croke Park. No understanding of reality it seems.
Cork City have started putting highlights of all matches on YouTube so it must be an option to clubs.

Your original point was "Football is generally a joke when it comes to drug testing, the issue simply isn't taken seriously"
It is not clear to me why the PFAI defending a member endorses that assertion.
Similarly, the length of the ban, which was imposed by The Irish Sport Council and not football authorities.
Many commentators believed that the 8 month ban was anything but a light ban , considering the findings that the judging panel determined that he did not intend to enhance his sporting performance but found him guilty of "carelessness".
