With 11pm, why wait til Monday? Show it on saturday, allows Sunday then to watch the play back.

11pm Monday is a disastrous timeslot to be fair. Most people will end up watching Friday night's games the following Tuesday.
Still better than nothing but very disappointing.
Clubs should be allowed to show highlights on their own websites, even if through a fee paying service to see highlights prior to being shown on rte.

I would agree, I would rarely ever get a chance to watch it live due to travel/family etc so dont generally get a chance to sit down until around 9pm and watch it back, if it moves to 11pm, this means anyone recording it will probably have to wait another day (Tues), this is far too late to be looking at games from the previous Friday.

I don't mean pay RTE!
Clubs should be able to show highlights of their own games on their own websites within a few hours of their game being complete. I'm not sure they'd do it for free. It could be part of a premium service on their websites for something like €5 a month.
Bump... is 11pm Mondays confirmed? Less than 2 weeks to when the first episode would be due... can't see anything on the RTE site.
It's not confirmed anywhere officially, but my understanding is that 11pm has been given the go-ahead due to Against The Head being shown in MNS regular time slot. Shocking really. 73 hours after most matches have finished.

I don't mind 11pm but would expect maybe with the extra time that better highlights could be put together.

11pm on a Saturday wouldn't be too bad. Monday is just silly. How is the league supposed to attract a younger audience when they're in bed for the highlights show?
It looks like MNS will be making an announcement today going by their twitter.
On Saturday matches, are Limerick not playing on Saturdays this season?

Even if the sea ceases to flow
Even if the sun ceases to rise
The name of Sligo Rovers will shine and shine forever like the morning star glittering in the sky."
