it was provisionally set (Drogs) for the monday. think it was in the programme last night.

no new date for Derry away has been set yet.

FFS, the monday is a bank holiday. Why is it anyway that Drogheda won't play us? They wouldn't play us a few mondays ago and no perhaps they won't play bank holiday monday....running scared.

we played them on a bank holiday monday earlier in the season. brought up big support too. no excuse Drogs

In fairness, I don't think the problem is Drogheda refusing to play us on the Bank Holiday Monday. Speaking to a club head after the Longford game, he stated the League were dallying with the fixture for reasons he couldn't fathom.

However, he was still hopeful that it would go ahead on the Monday which, of course, would rule out a trip to the Brandy the following day...

League can't alone be blamed for this. Makes league a joke that clubs or somebody can't have games rearranged that supposed to be played months ago!

League should have a rule that games have to be provisionally refixed when they originally postponed. Only something like cup replay or similar could have date moved again then.
