    Solanke
    Sherlock

    McDonnell

    J Umeh
    Michael Noonan

Those are 8 lads I'd expect in my squad (Steward has been left out of recent squads for whatever reason, so wouldn't be surprised if that happened again).

Meanwhile, there were 6 u16s in the squad (Brunton, Moloney, Gabbidon, Spaight, Sullivan, Dunne)
A lot of those names are either playing a level or more up in Ireland or abroad right?

Ozhianvuna another name? Although I think he is underage for 16s...

He only turned 16 in January, so quite possibly.

Didn't know where to put this but ........word is that David Dunne (the youngster from Middleton, Co. Cork) is about to sing for Monaco. Quite a talent I am led to believe. Welcome news after the somewhat tragic story of Ben Dumigan, the 16 year old Cork lad who was ready to sign a 4 year deal with Hoffenheim until they found a medical issue.

Interesting, he had a trial with Real Sociedad in August

found this thread on twitter about Dunne. Seems he had a trial with Monaco in December, but only turned 16 at the beginning of February(he was still 15 at the time the thread was written), so presumably the transfer couldn't be completed until then

There's a bit more to the thread than those two tweets, worth a read

Arsenal might be about to act on a long standing interest in Victor Ozhianvuna

Unusual for a 17s squad in that I kind of feel like I could already pick out the four or five names from the squad list that may have the potential to go the distance in the game and forge out a professional career (M Noonan /Finneran /Ozhianvuna /Umeh).

Josh Cullen is one I wouldn't have given a hope of only a few months ago but has taken to senior men's football like a duck to water.

Gavin McAteer is one of the finest natural footballers I've ever seen come through Finn Harps. Has all the skill of Paddy McCourt, pace, trickery, and a keen eye for a pass. He's going to be in England when he turns 18 without a shadow of doubt.
