Great to see. Only lad I’m unfamiliar with is Daniel Ring. The squad is missing guys like Kaylem Harnett, Mason Melia, Ike Orazi, Jayden Umeh and Ade Solanke - presumably a mix of guys playing first team football (Melia, Harnett?) with guys injured or not released by their clubs

Dan McDonnell piece with Matthew Moore and Finn Sherlock who are both at Hoffenheim.
Goalkeepers: Alex Noonan (Shamrock Rovers), Ali Topcu (Shelbourne)
Defenders: Billy Canny (St. Patrick’s Athletic), Ben Dumigan (Cork City), Oisin McDonagh (Venezia FC), Muhammad Oladiti (Shamrock Rovers), Ade Solanke (Shamrock Rovers), Finn Sherlock (Hoffenheim), Sam Steward (St. Patrick’s Athletic)
Midfielders: Brody Lee (Shamrock Rovers), Ramon Martos (UD Almeria), Grady McDonnell (Vancouver FC), Kian McMahon Brown (Burnley), Goodness Ogbonna (Shamrock Rovers), Oskar Skoubo Keely (Bohemians), Killian Ryan (Shelbourne)
Forwards: Luke Chukwu (St. Patrick’s Athletic), Michael Noonan (St. Patrick’s Athletic), Billy O’Neil (Bray Wanderers), Sam Rooney (St. Patrick’s Athletic)
Good squad as always for that age group. The big names that are missing are Jaden Umeh who had that horror injury recently and Rory Finneran who I would have thought would have been with the 19s but he’s not there either.
Ben Dumigan is a new name to me
Surprised not to see Gavin McAteer of Finn Harps on there. Tom Mohan has spoke very highly of him, and thought he was a shoe in for upcoming 17's international window after making 10 appearances so far this season in the First Division, despite only turning 16 this summer.

Lost 2-1 apparently. I’d be starting Topcu, Oladiti and Martos ahead of Noonan, Canny and Skoubo Keely.
Hopefully Umeh and Finneran will be allowed to represent us in the qualifiers if fit - they’re weirdly not in an international window this year (end of october / early November in Northern Ireland) - so presumably clubs have no obligation to release players.
Grady O’Donnell is probably the only other who is really at risk in that respect
Michael Noonan scored his first senior goals grabbing two in Pats 3-1 win over Maynooth town in the LSC to advance to the final. Only just turned 16 and became their youngest ever senior player back in May when he also played in LSC.
