I mean that over the past few seasons, Derry have had a tendency to look like worldbeaters at times with loads of class players, but they don't really maintain the performance levels over a season. Maybe Roddy feels the club would be better served with a younger squad, particularly those who weren't around for the double contracts era.

Well according to RTE today he did say he was going to give league of Ireland a season and that he wants to raise the kids at home.
Damien Duff said in an interview the other day, he wanted to play at the Top Level for another few years and would like to end up in Ireland. Cant see St Pats being top level he is talking about
