Yes, Pats were definitely the best side for the duration of the season. Stood up when it counted, winning the two key games, both 2-0, home to DLK, and Sligo. Goals against was it 15? This was alone was worthy championship winning material.

Notable better disciplinary record also, of the top 3, they were the best (we were by far the worst) they were true champions all over the park.

    Congrats.

#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), first Irish club to win points in a group stage in Europe (2016).

Congrats Pats. Fully deserved, best team in the league by some way even considering the Dundalk threat.

Now if you could extend the celebrations to next weekend and field a severely hungover team against us, that'd be fine...

Well done, Pats. I think Liam Buckley should celebrate by growing some sideburns (they don't have to be big). He does look a bit '1980s'.

best team in the league, best away team I've ever seen at Turners Cross, and I include the likes of Red Star Belgrade in that.

But I don't have to like it. bah humbug.

Surely Buckley must be a contender for Irish job, no?
Yeah man, they call gambling a disease, but it's the only disease where you can win a bunch of money.

Congrats Pat's. The best team definitely won the league and playing a lovely brand of Football. Might even be seeded in next Season's CL but that's for another day...

Well done St Pats. On the sliding scale of loathing I feel for other clubs, Pats hardly register.

They're a bit like the Fulham of the League of Ireland.

Ever? How long have you been going to TC. Even Red Star ?....... How many other big names have been there.

    Sarcasm per chance?

    Perspective.

City under Tommy Dunne are a different beast to now. We are not as easy to give up possession anymore.

Since 1998. I've never seen such a dominant away performance at the Cross.

Can't stand Pats so don't take my comments lightly.

Well done Pats, richly deserved I think. Amazing to think this was the team that came to Tallaght on matchday 2 and got roundly thumped.

Pats won't be seeded so a lot will depend on the draw. If they get someone like Celtic they're out immediately

    Pats worthy champions, Enjoy lads.
It's an awful shame it didn't go to the wire though.
