Oh. That's not much fun. I preferred Limerick's reason earlier in the season of "Preparations for the Bruce Springsteen concert at the weekend"

If Sligo get another goal or two here and narrow the goal difference, it'll set up an interesting game against Pats next week.

McBride sent off for Derry. When I saw Derry were a man down I thought it might be Rory "adds bite to the attack" Patterson.

Our good record in league football against Dundalk continues. Gaffney has really hit form now with loads of confidence. Much needed for him after a shocking start to the season. Three great results on the bounce for us with Bohs, Bray, Shels and Derry to come.

Fair play to Limerick, totally deserved the win.

That Gaffney has now scored 6 of the 11 you have against us this season

Dont think we had a chance all game bar Hobans header right on half time.

Yet again a referee ruins the games, for 20 mins in the 1st half every contested header was a free kick (he just made up which way to give it)

At least 70 Free Kicks during the game, which wasnt dirty at all game, id love to know how many free kicks there was.

Congrats to Athlone, the First Divisions most devoted members have escaped. Great crowd of just over 2000 well. Roddy has done it again!

Good boost for the Midlands to get Premier Division football again too.

Great result for us tonight! Probably our best performance at Dalymount all season. Another win should do it for us.
