a huge victory for limerick but you wouldn,t have predicted it with half an hour left,once the first goal went in galway fell apart,up to that it was dire stuff both sides were quite poor.despite the scoreline surprised at limericks performance as all the big name players were back.had to win and through now,anyone know who they meet next?

Poor enough game to be honest.Galway weren't up to much either.Once Limerick scored there was always only going to be one winner although Galway did have one or 2 half chances.all those big guns played against Desmond league as well except Yellow.cant fault their results 7 0 and 5 0..

Heard Dublin AUL are at home to runners up of group 2 in last 16. Clare need to beat desmond league to top the group on the 30th november, if Clare win it would set up a tasty clash of probably 2 favourites with Limerick going to dublin.

Heard that as well mastermind. But also heard they could be seeding teams . wouldn't be beyond the fai.dont think there is anything official yet, but is there ever with them.if thats the draw it will be on in Dublin id presume. And should be a cracker.

thought they were getting a home quarter final as won group.. they seem to change rules as they go along

6 group winners, 8 teams in 1/4 finals - don't think you can guarantee home draws...

I think the home guarantee was if a group winner was drawn for the play-off games???

Jesus Limerick must be kicking themselves with this draw, losing to Clare could really cost them. With the players they should be able to call on they should have strolled the group. Good recovery to qualify for the knockout rounds mind you.
