    Beat me too it
Just saw headline on SS news. Well at least if we had to pick a game for him to miss it would be this one. Thought he did very well in Paris, good first touch and lay off. Had the young centre half in his pocket

    Bugger!

Despite various claims of Clint's non-Irishness & mercenary tendencies & other nasty vibes posted elswhere on the forums, theres no doubt that we'll miss the bling-merchant on wednesday.

On the way into the stadium, an elderly San Marino Steward waved us in and said "Tonight, may the best team win"

    And they nearly did.

I couldn't have happened at a better time.
We'll survive the Faroe and Croatia games without him.

We need him back for the Portugal game in February and then for the games against Israel in March.

what a pity cause the lad seems to be full of confidence when playing for us and i cant believe Bruce is not picking him for brum when heskey and the has been yorke get in ahead of him. Confidence is a huge thing for a striker and client was full of it on sat and had the schillaci or whatever is his pocket

It couldn't have happened at a worse time for him personally with Heskey and Forsell out injured and Stern John recently sold.

Lets all hope he makes a quick recovery. They said up to a month so it could well be 3 weeks depending on how bad it is. He was on brilliant form and I reckon he will continue on where he left on in Paris when he returns. We will manage on wednesday but the more games he gets the better.

Cant belive he isnt getting regular games at birmingham.

That's a big shame he would have gotten a run in the team.
The brummies will have to play 4-5-1 for the next few weeks with Yorke up front on his own

Clinton's been charged by the FA re: the Bolton, Nick Hunt incident.

    (from http://www.premierleague.com/fapl.ra...egoryCode=News)

    MORRISON CHARGED BY FA
Birmingham City striker Clinton Morrison has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association following an incident during Tuesday's Barclays Premiership clash with Bolton Wanderers.
Morrison was clearly seen to push Bolton defender Nicky Hunt to the ground inside the visitors’ penalty area in the aftermath of a flare-up involving Emile Heskey and Bruno N’Gotty.

Referee Uriah Rennie did not see the incident as it occurred but the FA have taken action and charged the Republic of Ireland international.

Rennie has since studied video footage of the Morrison outburst and confirmed to the FA that he would only have given the player a caution rather than send him off.

The FA have the power to impose a one-match ban, or could issue a fine and a warning to Morrison about his future conduct.

i was just reading the earlier parts to that thread from october. look how things have changed for morrison in around 6weeks. he looked a poor player for birmingham rarely doing anything and now him and heskey compliment each other superbly and has something like 3 goals in his last 5 with another 2 assists. football is a funny game!
