If he was still the CEO why did he publicly resign as CEO?
Leeson was not gone as CEO just stayed in the shadows. You have to remember that it was his decision to not have GUFC apply for the licence come the following season, saying that he was going to take the club out for one year and reapply that following year.

Resigned as CEO, but continued as shareholder and representative within the FAI.

I would say 95% of them are on board, others are waiting for confirmation on the co-op being formed in the future
Co-op confirmed to be in place for the 2015 season

This co op is only to replace GUST. The co op gets to elect two members on the board of GFC replacing the two members of GUST. It basically gets people involved in the club but they will be doing the donkey work like manning the turnstiles, selling program's, stewards while the board members of GFC get to keep their seats on the FAI. I don't know if it is as high as 95% members of the gusties who are in favour of this new club or maybe it's a case of the minority making all the noise and still throwing dirt.

Where do you get this figure from Terry you haven't been at any of the meetings in the last 4 months where the membership voted unanimously and Mandated GUST Reps on the board to agree a club model/co op . The co op will not be replacing GUST it will be a separate members owned and run who will be voting members onto the new Board at the end of Season 2014. GUST will still have their 2 reps on the board.
The sub committees recomendations will be laid before the board hopefully next week and if the board approve or reject them then and onlt then will the members have their vote in respect of GUST's future. The ball is in the court of the gfc board if they think the members will accept broad promises and no timelines or written agreements im afraid they will be doing all the volunteer work themselves. This has been going around in circles since the 24th July and peoples patience is running out the time for actions instead of praise and platitudes is now.
