No seriously from the press release it does look like the usual stuff of a manager wanting a bigger budget (I'm purely guessing here) and club said no. If this is the case then I agree with the club given our history with financial mismanagement. In saying that I think mick leaves with his head held very high and with the honest best wishes of all drog supporters.
Finally I am shocked as I didn't see it coming and his replacement will have a big job to fill his shoes.

Seen a few Drogs fans on twitter saying there is a player owed 11 weeks wages and owe Cooke money too. Dunno how true that is.

I've heard all sorts of rumours. There is so much spin going on from both sides.
It's hard to know what to believe.
Dumping Cooke is baffling enough, the decision to keep him for the reast of the season is plain stupid. What if he wins the league cup and even the FAI cup? The board would then be in an impossible situation.
If Cooke was to go, he should have gone immediately.
But maybe the same budget is not been offered? I have no idea by the way, but it won't be surprising if there was a drop in budget to match a drop in income.
