The title race looks like being an absolute humdinger and that match between Pats and Dundalk mouth watering (this will be on TV, right?).

I see Dundalk have four games at home from the seven left.. they should absolutely coin it between now and the end of the season barring Pats streaking away.

And the fight at the bottom is fascinating also with four teams involved including Bohs and Shels.

Deserved win for Pats last night. Another little wrinkle for the title race is that 3 times Pats and Dundalk play on differing nights.

This week Pats Saturday, Dundalk Sunday. Then they play each other. Then Pats Thursday, Dundalk Friday.

Still think Dundalk are the value bet at 5/2 with PP. Even with a draw in that game in Richmond, I see more opportunities for Pats to drop points than Dundalk

I am surprised at the odds being offered. Pats are two points ahead, but Dundalk are improving every week, and have a good run in.

In my opinion, it is neck and neck.

    I'd agree with that.

Of course odds aren't just based on probability of win. it's about making maximum profit (at minimum exposure) for the bookie.

I have Dundalk backed at 10/1 btw (from about 6 weeks ago)

Are Pats changing to the Barcaleona colours ? I still think St Pats have a better squad than Dundalk and the only worry I would have about them is that they have not been scoring enough goals for all their domination of games, especially from the strikers compared to Stephen Kenny's side. Hope the race goes the distance as it would increase the crowds hopefully. Pats need to give Bisto Flood more game time, plus it was good to see one of his own team (Bolger I think) order K Brennan back into line as he was just about to start acting up towards the end of last night's game. That the attitude that wins titles.

My money is on pats. Kenny has a habit of bottling it at the last minute.
