    Connolly 2-3 Bridge

Mike McNamara, John Keogh and Johnny Hayes with Bridge goals.

After the fixtures listed on website are played, Bridge A will have played Avenue, Tage, Tulla and Ennis Town twice and haven't played Newmarket or Mountshannon at all.

    Why is this the case?

Why does this topic keep coming up.. if teams have a problem with it then why don't they refuse to play games..

I'm asking why has it happened? I'm not saying it's right or wrong, I'm not saying clubs are happy or unhappy about it, I just want to know what are people's opinions on it?

My opinion would be that after all the delays I think teams should be happy just to play games..newmarket have only 6 games played as great runs in cup competitions..if bridge were to wait to play them it could be 2 or 3 weeks without a game..

Maybe you should direct you questions to the fixtures secretary rather than looking for answers on this forum , I'm sure he's trying to do his best.

Shannon Olympic 2-0 Rhine Rovers, don't think Rhine should be as low as they are some quality players on there squad! Ref was shocking, made too many wrong decisions for both sides! Another 3 points onwards and upwards!

Ollie came of the bench and scored a screamer from the half way line! Goal of the season.

I guess they are going with what they know.
Personally I would have Geraldines as favourites though I am finding it hard to find a reason since they haven't had much of a successful recent history. I guess their recent run in the FAI might sway it for me, taking what is suppose to be the best Junior side in Ireland to penalties, shows they are a very good side.

Now what would you base your laughter on? Why would you find it humourous that they have chosen Newmarket as favourites, you should be well aware of how good Newmarket can be. Didn't they have you in a spin in an earlier round and in more recent years with your former club?

Maybe you should consder the bigger picture and I am sure the players and clubmen that have some longevity in your new club will respect the step that is being taken on Sunday just as was reciprocated when they played the Munster Champions Cup. The rivallry is healthy but the snideness is not appreciated or helpful.
    I'll update this next year.

Why do people make this site personal? My comment wasnt directed at anyone but you First seem to direct yours straight at me. No they didnt have Avenue in a spin at all in that game. Fair enough, its not funny. Its naive for them to think it. Of course Newmarket can win but Geraldines are favourites.

I didn't say Avenue I said you i.e they had you in a spin. I direct my post in response to the poster. The fact that you found The Clare People's opinion funny, which you now retract and replace with naive shows you were being ingenuousness as to the factor you base the reason for your laughter. I can understand your desire to fit in your new surroundings but take a bit of a lesson from the maturity of the post above yours.

Had me in a spin? Do explain. You seem to think I have a vendetta against newmarket or at least an inherited one. I play to win every game no matter the opposition.
