not sure but then again its only junior football do you really need qualifications. I know he has played at a high level and seems to be held in high regard by a lot of people.

We heard alot of these young impressionable fellows have moved to the Bridge on a promise to a possible step accross the water - if thats the case its a bit unfair - your sending out the wrong message - likens to Liffords past recuting policy !!

And we all know what happened to Lifford - with their policy - robbing { ott maybe } players from the town based on a false promise - - - how are lifford doing in general ?

these shannon lads see there friends winning youth and 19s medals with the bridge. they see there is good training on offer and a good young A team which can compete against your avenues and newmarkets. comparing the bridge ATTRACTING players to what lifford did is pathetic..

Lads the bridge aren't half the club either hibs or town are ..what have they to offer the have 1 (very wet ) pitch no training facilities a shack for home team to change in..they do most of there training in shannon. As for there u18s/19s winning things its a lot easier to win a league with 4 or 5 teams in it..

Out of interest what is it that Liffrord did exactly to attract players? Last I heard they were losing a lot of players from past seasons rather then getting any new players in?

jesus i dont think lads would be that stupid to believe that story to sign , Plus they must have high opinions of themselves to be thinking of moves across the water

Anyone who has ever been near a dressing room with Ger Kelly knows he's a top couch with a great footballing brain. The Clare Manager doesnt invite any Tom, Dick or Harry onto the training panel. They are there cause they can do a job! Creating interesting training session for players willing to apply themselves is something he is very good at

Gerry has plenty of qualifications got...If you equate boring with hard work then maybe you get to the crux of the issue...We have had numerous different sessions over the past year or two...circuit training, astro, hill running, shooting practice, ball work, cross fit...what more to lads want like??

what a statement! What do they have to offer! Slag off the players that play with, or have left, or are heading to them, but to slag what facilities a lot of people have worked hard to get and are still working hard to improve is a bit childish.
not too long ago hibs lived out of a shack and Shannon town out of not much better, but those two clubs are working as hard as any to improve, training facilities, when I played with hibs I also had to train on astro because of bad pitches. bridge have a smaller pocket to pull from, GAA seems to get the most of the donations going about. So let the good work of other clubs out of it.
