Tino conversation wasn't a threat, it was conversation about Tino being regraded from LOI to Junior, thats all, Hibs know that and Tino didn't even tog out.

Don't think Management were aware what Gary was doing that at the time, they are now tho.

it's a local tournament not the world cup ..? how are clubs supposed to attract players and get them involved ?? more rule changes by organisers again

cannnot understand why lads are not upfront to clubs and let them know what they are doing !! and a few of the teams still left in wesley webb have the same problem playing players who might not even sign for them

A week away from kick off to the new season for some teams and clubs are playing players who haven't signed for them? Shame on the managers and those left on the bench should walk away.

Youre dead right. all the players thinking they're big time playing for a number of clubs etc, you'd think they would have made there mind up weeks ago. Not like they're getting paid. Joke.

Managers need to be harsher imo

Agree lads. We ourselves have told players before recent friendlies that if they are not signing they may as well move on as we need to be playing close to our starting 11 as the season gets nearer and need the lads to get used to playing and training with each other. Not having fellas a few days before the first game saying they"ll sign hoping to walk into the team or lads leaving with only a few days to go and totally disrupting the team.

Most youngfellas are just chancing their arms at getting a few games of ball while probably knowing full well who else they will actually sign for. The same kind of lads that can make matches but miraculously miss training sessions. Luckily for us players have slowly realised that over the years and we have kept a good core together year after year.

Id say there will definatly be goals in the hibs game....
Think Olympic are missing 4 or 5 players/starters
I think Bridge might do one over on Town

don't think anybody expected the Olympic result tonight good performance from them... you would have to fancy town if it goes to penalties with all the practice they are getting and will Olympic have there special guest players available for Saturday night is packie darcy also suspended for town now after red card tonight

Jamie Egan would of been the only player not signed.. The other 10 have.. Still have to throw gav Lundy, Brian mcgorian and conor nev into the mix. Not a bad squad. Have town shown there strongest 11 yet though. They have a massive squad.

I thought the first game between Olympic and Hibs was alright, reckon if Olympic didn't have Jamie Egan playing for them they might of lost the game..Thought Hibs passed the ball much better but didn't manage to create that many clear cut chances to score outside there goal. Rob Wall stood out as the best player for them and in the match. Some lovely touches and dominated the midfield imo.

Town v Bridge first half was good, both thems playing good football and moved the ball well i thought. Died down in the second half and looked more like a gaa match at times lol with so much stop/starts from fouling each other and play acting from the sidelines etc...

Finale might go to pens again. tough one to call for me.

thought town deserved to win it as they looked more dangerous near end of second half but chris lake had a great chance to put bridge ahead in first half when through on goals and put it over the bar , but agree alot of stop start football in 2nd half ... penalty of the tournament sean burkes cheeky dink for shannon town..

heard the same on olympic v hibs .. hibs looked the better team but played it around to much without creating any clear cut chances but still great win for olympic.

anybody know what the rules are for entering teams / squads i know you can play any players you want but surely teams have to enter squads for first game and work of this ?? our can you just use any player you want or need on the night.. what time is the final on sat night

They might have too much...but correct if I'm wrong...Town haven't even scored yet in the tournament and are in the final whereas Olympic have banged in 8 in their two games....Also in saying that Town haven't conceded any either so it could make for a good final.

Town take the trophy and much deserved winnning comfortably 3-0 over Olympic.

    Poor final imo

Looked a nasty knock Mark Mckee got hope he's not too badly injured..
Best of luck to both teams for the season ahead.

Mark was fine at the end I think... Olympic lacked the fitness definitely in the last 20 mins... Town should do well this season if they keep their squad.

having watched them through the w.webb cup I'm not sure I'd agree with you there. Sure they have a big squad, but haven't really improved it imo they struggled a bit last season if they finish mid-table this year would be an improvement alright..
