I dunno would you call a 4-1 win a shock but it certainly isn't in keeping with their recent form. The return of Seanie Fitz & Tony Quaid would make a huge difference to any team. I reckon 'tis between themselves now and Rathkeale to win it out! Is there any other results from the weekend??

All I know is Ncw Rovers got St. Ita's, not sure whether home or away.
It will be one of four times they must play each other in the next few months. League Cup and twice in the league also.

Carrig Celtic beaten 3-2 by Creeves In desmond cup 1st round

What's happening with fixtures? I went to Aughinish on Sunday morning only to find the place locked up. Fair enough, I then said to myself that Creeves v Carrig was a good alternative so I arrived in Newbridge at 11.25 and once again the place was deserted. I gave up and went home and checked the Observer and the league website fixtures. I later heard that Creeves had caused an upset. I also heard that Shannonside v Athea had been refixed since Friday evening. Any wonder that football fans give up going, when the League don't bother letting people know what's happening. I mean why cant the PRO or Fixtures Sec post updates on their website on Sunday morning?

Ya I agree notaclue, the desmond website is getting worse each year. The schoolboys website is much better. They haven't updated the cup draws in years which is ridiculous and the fixtures can be very slow to go up. I also think the league fixtures could be planned and posted earlier to give people a chance to plan their weekends in advance, I know things might change with games being called off and replays but they could be posted as provisional a week earlier than they currently are.

Its the worst website iv ever seen for a soccer league. Only good things about it are the fixtures and league tables updated every week. Thats about it

Lads calm down, its not run in the best possible way but we still get our league tables and results updated each week. Obviously it could be run a bit more efficiently with regards to Cup fixtures etc but maybe there isn't enough interest in it or maybe its too costly! Honestly though how many people do ye think use the website? I do alright but just for results and standings.

Ya it's true heard ncw b team are at fault, dey caused some trouble at a league match away to feenagh, gave seanie hartnett foul abuse and threw stones off feenagh players
