3/1 looks decent for the draw anyway. Prob even get better odds if you shop around, I presume those odds are from PaddyPower and Paddy is always a bit of a tightarse!
Ireland are 6/1 to win, and 3/1 for the draw.
I reckon either of them are definitely worth throwing a small large amount of money on, or are we getting too carried away??!

You can get 14-1 for a 1-0 win, that seems a fair bet and
you won't need to put much on for a good return, you won't
lose much either when it doesnt happen.
PAddypower will attract 'patriotic' bets from the Irish so avoid it
as you will get crap odds, best to find a french bookmaker for
a good price![]()

4.20 for the draw
8.00 for the win
tricky_colour's odds above are slightly better.Originally Posted by macdermesser

Best odds I can find for the win is 15/2 with Sport Tab.
You got to get yourselves on to betfair lads... we are 7.4/1 to win, 3.4/1 to draw.. but the best thing is you can 'lay' france at 1/2 - so if we win OR draw then you cash in.. also - if we go one nil up you can 'hedge out' during the game and lock in a profit regardless...
I see what you mean ... they don't give you your stake back .. so 8 less the stake of 1 = 7/1Originally Posted by eirebhoy

Robbie Keane to score, Ireland to win - 11/1 on gamebookers.ie surely worth a punt
I'd actually prefer if the Irish and British used demical's rather than fractional odd's. If you're doing an accumulator with decimal's all you do is multiply the odds together to work out your winnings. an accum on 2.00, 3.00 and 5.50 can be worked out in seconds and gives odds of 33.00 (or 32/1). It takes a lot longer working out those odds with the fractions evens, 2/1 and 9/2.Originally Posted by macdermesser
Same goes for singles, if you put £22 on a 10/3 you have to go dividing, multiplying and adding. If the odds were in decimals, £22 on 4.33 (10/3), all you have to do is multiply to work out your winnings.
Anyway, don't mind me...![]()
hehe .. a lot of info there, but agree with you. In any case, I took the odds at 8.0 .. 17 euro .. coming to 136, which will pay for all those spare tickets I orderedOriginally Posted by eirebhoy
Put 10 on the draw ... I guess the conventional wisdom would be to go big on the draw and hedge on the win.
Still .. the bookies rarely get it wrong ..

hmmm .. maybe we could all get a chant going on the whistle, stick a few quid down, and pick up some nice cash![]()
Im taking Ireland on the handicap, so even if we lost by a goal you still win and the odds are decent too close to even money on betfair.
Ireland to win.

good point on the handicap, might have a go at that too.. they have to lose by two goals for you to lose money.. and a win or a draw pays about 4/5![]()
Just put a tenner on us at 6\1 to win. Blind hope.......
Im a bit unsure of betting. So this might sound dumb a F**k. Anyway.Paddy Power - odds

France 4 - 9
Draw 3 - 1
Ireland 6 - 1
France to win is 4 - 9. So if you put on 4 quid you would get 9 back? Or is it the other way around put on 9 and get 4 back ? This is basically 2 to 1 favourites ?
put 9 euro on and you get 13 back. You win 4 euro and get your 9 euro back.Originally Posted by thejollyrodger

I got the draw and won €8 odd euro on the orignal 10 placed on a win and a draw.
Does anyone know the odds for Ireland Vs Faroes next wednesday ?
just found out

1.03 to win. Not much point in putting anything on that ! Maybe PaddyPower will do a special or something like that. There should be good odds on Robbie to score 2 goals ?

Why not? Stick a tenner on it and you get 30 cent back.Originally Posted by thejollyrodger

is there any good odds being offered in the rest of the WCQ's ? I looked at england to win in Gerggio but they have similar crappy odds.
I didnt see anything else that jumped out in front of me.
