0-0 away to Banteer. A point was a fair result in a game played in brutal weather conditions.

Our game vs strand was called off by the ref today. This was before the rain started. Took a walk of the pitch myself and it was no way playable. You would think they would have checked the pitch and let us know rather than us taking the 40min drive down and 40min drive back. I'm not one for slating other clubs but this is the 2nd time this has happened to us. Complete joke!
Very good point JRyano, how clubs treat each other can play a huge part in the league. In all honesty it would be a big ask for the majority of clubs to get games played on there pitchs this morning , and not calling a game off early is not on especially when a team is travelling from anywhere over a 30 min drive. Lesson to all , better to call a game off early than to play an regret playing at all.
Now they said the pitch was perfect yesterday which I find very hard to believe but even so, there was a lot of rain yesterday afternoon so why not get up at 8am do a quick check and call it. We were all in the dressing room togging out at 10:20 when their lads were all talking outside and the pitch hadn't even been lined so I'd say they knew it would be called. I would never do that to another club. It's not on at all.
