De Courcey 4-2 Newmarket. Good game, tricky side in fairness. They dominated for spells today. I'm not going to go on about we were missing this fella and that fella because at the end of the day your squad wins you things not just 11 fellas. If you're missing players get on with it and don't use it as an excuse! Best of luck to Newmarket, nice bunch of lads with some good football players. Looking forward to playing them again.

surprising result, I was told kanturk would b very strong, went to watergrasshill this morning to support Cathedral Celtic, 3-0 win great start, never got out of first gear in truth and could and should have been a few more

Saw most of the game and although Kanturk had good numbers, must've had 18-20 players the result wasn't unfair. It was relatively even in the first half with Dillons just being a bit more clinical and going in 3-0 up but it seemed to be all Dillons in the second half and they could've scored more to be fair.

Hear Cathedral have added quite a bit to their squad this season have they?

Lar Betts a huge signing, only one or two others brought in to add to what was a decent but thin squad from last year

    Newmarket 1-0 Macroom.

Tough from a macroom point of view. First half there was'nt much in the game really was not much separating the sides. We were the better side in the 2nd half prior to their winner and we had at least 2 to 3 decent chances to go ahead.

The performance was encouraging overall from us I felt and there was some good commitment shown .

5-2 to Knocknaheeny. Bossed the game from start to finish. 2 shots and 2 goals for Ard Na Laoi had them 2 up, Knocka didn't change their game plan and eventually came through in the end. Johnny and Keith Callaghan, Wayne Conner, Joe Harte and Christy Kelly with the goals..

Two big games now this week away at Boscos and Glenthorn. Anyone share any info on either sides?
