    Tresson doubful, Grogan out

Midfielder Colm Tresson is doubtful for Wednesday's crunch league encounter with Kildare County. Kevin Grogan is out of action after picking up an injury during Saturday's win in Kilkenny.

Long term injuries also rule out Graham O'Hanlon and Robbie McGuinness.

    The game has a 7.45pm kick-off.

What team will Devo start with ? for what it's worth i reckon he should go with.............

    O'Connor - GK

    Farrell - LB
    Lynch - CB
    Charles - CB
    Gifford - RB

    Ryan - LM
    Gormley - CM
    James - CM
    Zayed - RM

    Tarzan - S
    Foxy - S

    Subs:

    O'Reilly
    Flood
    McGrory
    Long
    Lawlor

Back four is the same as the wins over Kilkenny and Sligo and has kept clean sheets in both matches - No point changing it if it anit broke. Ryaner over Floody because he is better at defending and Zayed on the right hand side of midfield cause he is actually much more effective there, works for the ball, creates chances and scores goals. Personally i think it could be his best position. Finally Tarzan to feed off Foxys aerial threat.

Replying to my own Thread ! how sad :-)

One of the biggest matches of the season in the eircom First Division takes place at the Carlisle Grounds tonight as third placed Bray Wanderers host fourth placed Kildare County. Kick off at 7.45pm.

If ever a match could be labelled a six-pointer then this game fits the bill to perfection. A defeat for Kildare would almost certainly rule them out of contention for a Promotion place.

Bray are currently four points ahead of the Thoroughbreds in the table and the home side could stretch that to seven after tonight’s match. With only seven matches remaining in the eircom First Division, no side will want to drop any more points.

Since losing to bottom side Limerick in August, Bray have gone a five-game unbeaten streak, while they only dropped two points to leaders UCD in a 2-2 draw in September.

The Seagulls inflicted a 2-0 defeat on Eric Hannigan’s side when they last met in the league. Kildare have won their last four consecutive league matches to keep them in touch with the leading pack.

Bray manager Pat Devlin has a number of injury worries ahead of the match as Graham O’Hanlon and Robbie McGuinness are joined on the treatment table by striker Kevin Grogan, who limped off during the 1-0 win over Kilkenny City last Saturday night.

Midfielder Colm Tresson will be given until the last minute to prove his fitness ahead of tonight’s match as Bray look to end Kildare’s interest in the promotion chase.

The Thoroughbreds are thought to have a full strength squad to choose from as they prepare for their biggest game of the season.
