While we have played well in some friendlies the competitive games are obviously the most important and are what a manager and a team should be judged by and as I have stated above they have left a lot to be desired in the last 18 months or so and even before that in the latter stages of McCarthy's reign. I'm not trying to put a downer on things, I'm looking forward to the Paris trip as much as anyone, but I just think that a bit of a reality check is called for. We had similar talk before the Swiss match and in the end we were hanging on for the point.....just something to keep in mind.
