Glengoole Utd are on some fantastic form. really deserve their place in the premier league
I was at the Celtic v Town game and as a neutral I believe the referee bottled the decision with the town player which clearly everyone saw as the town bench took him off straight away. not to say the result might have been different but fair is fair. Celtic Still created chances when down to 10 men but town had the extra advantage until they were put down to ten men. I don't understand why Waterford or surrounding league officials cant be called upon to ref big games in the T.S.D.L and like wise Tipperary officials officiate in Waterford etc. if it cost an extra few bob wouldn't it be worth it. nobody can complain about a ref being biased and both teams are getting a fair crack at it. Tommy Lewis wont let Johnny Walsh ref Clonmel Celtic games because of his affiliation with the club in previous years as a player. Tommy Lewis forgets who Paddy Keane played with and also where the man drinks an occasional pint. Hope they meet in the Munster for entertainment purposes.

Not the greatest Town v Saints game I have seen but it was an entertaining 90 minutes. Two goals from terrible defending gave Saints a 2-0 half time lead. Town pulled one back and could have equalized but Saints missed chances on the break. Overall, Saints deserving 1-2 winners at the Complex.
Agree with you about the dreadful defending. Town gifted Michaels two goals. Town missed two or three great chances in first half. Plus Town claimed a ball was over the line. I was down that end put couldn't really tell. Town much better side in 2nd half. Great goal from Richie Crowe. David McGrath missed from 6 yards after a well worked free. To be fair, Michaels defended really well but I honestly thought Town deserved at least a point. Town once again played some cracking football. Hats off to Michaels who despite the doubts of some people here and in other clubs, Michaels still have best defence around these parts and possibly in the country. Chalky and Breen were superb again. Chris Higgins and Paul Tobin weren't bad either. As you say Michaels missed one or two chances on the break that would have wrapped it up. Good crowd at the match, which was nice to see.

Peale Villa?? Just reading the various clubs Facebook pages trying to find oscar tray nor result and on villas page they talk about their U12 being the clubs first ever schoolboy side to make last 32 of a national cup, Kevin Cummins I believe his name was, Kevin I watched Ted O Connor,David Horan and Conor Walsh beaten by Lourdes Celtic, Two future Irish internationals played Barry Roche and John Lester, both were capped at youth level,Villa were very unlucky several villa sides after this were in the last 32, a side containing James O Sullivan and Timmy Purcell before they went to Belvedere were beaten in the last 16 in the tower field and also a side containing Kevin Fogarty who went on to represent Man City in the Milk cup were beaten by st Kevin's boys in a quarter final,Kevin Cummins if your chairman of the schoolboys you better read up on your history, well done to the U12 team today, future Teds and Kevin fogartys hopefully
Kevin fogarty, James, ted, timmy. None of these guys were playing at a standard of our young fellas up there now. No disrespect to those lads but they were training in mud baths just kicking a ball around. Our coaches nowadays are qualified and providing structured sessions and as a result our youngsters are technically superior to anything that came before in the club.its very exciting times
just readin there facebook page now and i was expecting them to have beaten a dublin club or something to achieve this miraculous achievement, at least some one from outside of tipp but then i see they bet clerihan, yes clerihan!!...is there only 64 clubs in ireland or somethin![]()
Well done to Town on a really hard fought win against Moyglass on a bog of a pitch. We knew the pitch was awful going out there. The boys did really well to battle their way through after going a goal down. Hopefully we will get a home draw in round 5. The score line doesn't do justice to Moyglass. Glengoole Utd deserve all the plaudits tonight. After knocking Town out of Munster, they knock Celtic out of FAI. Big setback for Celtic who correctly would have designs on winning the FAI. I think everyone thought they would have had enough up front to get the goals to go through. Its amazing, you can score 7,8,9 in games and then the day you want one, it doesn't come. That's the beauty of the FAI. Well done Glengoole. The return game on the by pass in the Munster, should be interesting.
ya well done to glengoole, amazing result today and it couldnt be called a fluke, i wasnt shocked when i heard result..they have one of best defences in league, especially at home. well done glengoole!
