Waterford United have had a number of their forthcoming eircom Premier Division ties changed starting with this week’s clash with struggling Dublin City.
The Blues were due to play City this Thursday, but that fixture has now been rescheduled for Monday, October 11th at Tolka Park with kick off at 7.30pm.
Waterford’s match with neighbours Cork City has also been rearranged. Originally fixed for Friday October 15th, the game will now take place on Monday October 18th.
The meeting of the Munster rivals will be of great importance as both sides look to book their place in next season’s Intertoto Cup and with the eircom League campaign entering its final stretch, all emphasis will be on picking up crucial points.
Alan Reynolds side could book their place in the Uefa Cup, if the win the FAIreland Carlsberg Cup. United clinched their place in the final with a 2-1 win over Derry City on Friday night.
