Obviously Owls, I'm much better at picking winners, than figuring out who's not going to lose at the bottom, which is obviously your forté
All those years supporting clubs at the bottom of the barrel has fine tuned your relegation candidate instincts.
Fortunately for your prediction, Sunderland whose neck was already in the noose, had Clint Eastwood on standby to rescue them in miraculous fashion.

DID YOU NOTICE A SIGN OUTSIDE MY HOUSE...?
Long off in the second half.
DID YOU NOTICE A SIGN OUTSIDE MY HOUSE...?
Is that a cricket field position?
I see the FA wants to establish a B team league for the big clubs, somewhere in the pyramid between the FL lower divisions and the Conference. The FAI should invite them to the LOI.

My first impression is that feeder teams are just like zombies floating about the lower leagues, infecting that league with nothingness, no history, no fan culture, no character and they can't move out of that state.
Would that not describe Shamrock Rovers B team in the LOI Division 1?![]()
Bonnie would like the Man City song, ripping the **** out of the Liverpool song about Gerrard.
Steve Gerrard Gerrard
He fell on his effing ar$e
He gave it to Demba Ba
Steve Gerrard Gerrard
That one's an instant classic. United fans were singing it yesterday too - when was the last time you heard United and City fans both singing the same chant?
I liked one I read suggested by a Rovers fan to sing at the Aviva next week:
Blue Moon
You started singing too soon
You won't be singing for long
There's only one Derek Swan
It was a lovely result. Who knew Man City would end up being more likable than Liverpool in this scenario.
DID YOU NOTICE A SIGN OUTSIDE MY HOUSE...?
So looking like a decent season for Arsenal if they can add the cup to it. Big game for Spurs on Sunday to seal a place in the europa league. If they lose Man U could pip them to it. Is it true if you win the europa league next season you are in the champions league the following season?
Lets talk about six baby
It is true. Not much fear of Spurs winning it though.
What happens if by some chance due to FFP reasons, Man City get barred from competing in next season's CL, would the next team in the list (Everton) get in to the CL?
That's a good question by Geysir.
If City don't accept UEFA's offer tomorrow it'll go to CAS I think because that's (a) the prescribed route to take and (b) the norm in these situations anyway. As far as I can see, the rules are quite clear and CAS would more than likely uphold UEFA's sanction.
Yes, but would Everton get the CL spot? ..... which was the good question![]()
I know, I said that was a good question! I have no idea, but don't Everton have an appeal option whereby they can query the any settlement?
Wenger threw in his thoughts this in this morning's Irish Times saying City should not be allowed in the CL, end of. No to the grey areas.
If Everton have an appeal option then that implies they are an interested party in the outcome and would take the 4th CL (play off) place, if Man City drop out.
That would mean Arsenal are also an interested party in the outcome.
Probably the EPL would not lose a CL spot, in the event of an expulsion.
Good point geysir, as it would mean the Arse wouldn't have to play a nasty CL qualifier (x2) as part of pre-season...
That means Stutts is an interested party ......... a stakeholder ..almost.
