    Foot.ie! Will the Cup replay be live on RTE????

    Will the Drogs V Longford FAI Cup semi final replay game be live on RTE 2?

    I thought I heard George Hamilton mentioning something about it yesterday.

    I dunno ... but in fairness, it should be .... but its RTE !!
    The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

    It's not listed on Sky, but there's a couple of 'disposable' shows on there that smell like they might have been put there as place-holders (back-to-back episodes of 'Two Wild' and a Friends re-run).

    Any one know for sure ?

    In the Examiner sports section today - charlie stuart's preview - it said the game was on RTE2 at 7.30pm. Emmet Malone also states that it's live on TV tonight in the Irish Times.

    According to Aertel, the game is live on RTE Radio 1 Longwave. No mention of it on TV.

    Well on 2fm they're plugging that the game'll be live on longwave 252, if it were on tv they would have said.
    Whatever it was I am sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman around here?

    I think Waterford vs Longford will be a good Cup final. Both like to play attacking football.
