Not a bad game of football, good atmosphere & entertaining. town won comfortably in the end massive gap between both squads. credit to hibs, this bunch of players showed heart & desire to play for the shirt. I really hope that they stick with this group of players.
Lets be honest showing great heart for the club won't get results!!! Hibs got a 1-0 win against the same town squad at the start of the season..getting the players back to keep them up should be a priority...

From what I heard the hibs team that played earlier on in the season is not there now so try and get the players back that would make the team some bit stronger.If the club gets relegated it'll only get worse!!
How can they get them back please explain ? What has changed with club that would bring them back a lot of them just stopped playing and a few others run off to other clubs when the going got tough

Just think that with a club struggling the way it is,surely the ones that stopped playing could be asked to come back to give the club some chance of getting points in last 3 or 4 games..

Are you seriously advocating that hibs management should run after the same players who got the club where they are now, 'rats deserting a sinking ship'. So what if the club get relegated, from what I seen the other night it will only be for 1 season. I would rather struggle in 1B than go running after those prima donnas.

Go begging players that walked away to come back? Ha ha thats what they want. They dont want to play leave them off. Rather get relegated with a group of lads with a bit of heart and interest that go asking any of them to come back
Shannon town won comfortably in the end and so they should have as they were up against a hibs team with 8 b team players in the starting 11 and 3 more on the subs bench. They tried there best but they were playing division 3a football only a few months ago.......its a big ask. There is probably only quirkey,jack kelly and maybe fred who would get in Shannon towns squad and there is at least 6 teams better than Shannon town in the division so it was always going to be tough to stay in division.And as Coolcat said it took a very good squad of players to win 1b under davy wall.

I heard it off a player who was in the team this season! Im not insinuating that its true im asking if anyone can tell me its true? as I was told Pa Tierney told Whelers and Philly Purcell that most of their playing time would be coming off the bence?
