standards have been dropping for a while, plenty of factors contributing to that, players losing interest, clubs being run by maybe 1 or 2 people doing their best to keep it going ,getting no support from present or former players who put nothing back in,little or no coaching or training etc and the biggest problem imo is a poorly run league the last 4 or 5 years which is partly the clubs fault because they keep voting poor admin people in.saw mungret win this morning ..game was,n bad tbf...ironic i know.

My Goal Is To Deny Yours...
Shocking result, thought things might have improved with new management. Any reporters out there
dont know why you would think things would improve with new managment as same players still there.. football in shannon is in a poor place at the moment.. all the good young players are playing 17s or 19s in clare league..
also mungret are up near the top of league so no real suprise that they won..how did town do against them in the league this year. .
Kilmallock 2 Knockainey 0 great result for us down on that hell hole of a pitch come on the hoops
Seeing as the state of soccer in Shannon keeps coming up in here(1A thread) maybe those who bring it up constantly should think about opening a separate thread rather than hijack this one repeatedly
My Goal Is To Deny Yours...
Can't see Hibs staying up now to be honest, bit of a circus there at the moment![]()
